Update: 5:12PM A TROUGH of low pressure with associated cloud and showers to the north of Fiji is expected to drift south and affect the group.

The Fiji Meteorological Services forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group is occasional showers over Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Yasawa group, eastern and interior of other larger islands.

Elsewhere, the weather will be fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers.
