In supporting community health and well-being, the Asco foundation has donated a 4×4 Hilux vehicle to Diabetes Fiji to assist with their outreach work.

Diabetes Fiji board chairman, Taarvish Akbhar described this gift as one that would greatly help his team fulfill their mission.

“We are incredibly thankful to the Asco foundation for their support,” he said.

‘This vehicle will be instrumental in helping us fulfill our mission to educate and assist those affected by diabetes.

“It will allow us to extend our reach and provide much-needed services to our communities, ultimately improving the quality of life for many individuals, he said.”

He said this initiative marked a milestone in the ongoing partnership with organizations dedicated to improving health outcomes, particularly in the fight against diabetes, which has become a pressing concern in communities.

“Withstanding a long-standing tradition of giving back to the community, this donation is part of a broader initiative to promote health and wellness.”
