An upset was created earlier this afternoon in the intermediate girl’s shot-put finals at the 2023 Coca-Cola Games.

Nasikawa Vision College Lanieta Nagauna won gold with a throw of 10.93 metres beating favorite and last year’s intermediate shot-put gold medallist Fifita Uluilakepa of St Josephs Secondary School who settled for silver.

Adi Keri Lawavou of Natabua High School on the bronze medal.

This is the first gold medal for Nasikawa Vision College.
