Fiji Pine Group executive chairman Ratu Rakuita Vakalalabure says the company can reach new heights.
At a management strategic planning workshop in Lautoka this week, Ratu Rakuita reminded the managers they would lead the group in executing strategies to reach their target.
“Strategic planning isn’t about easy yes or no responses, or about making the correct or wrong decision,” Ratu Rakuita said.
“It is an approach that encourages line managers and executives to interact while openly discussing ideas on where improvements may be made.”
Ratu Rakuita highlighted the importance of knowing their current practices, which served as the foundation for finding opportunities for improvement and advancement.
“Speaking openly within this workshop is a powerful management tool. It allows us to tackle even the most difficult problems, which often necessitates adapting their management styles and operational capabilities.
“As company leaders, we must share a vision about where Fiji Pine Group should go.
“Yes, we strategised to get Fiji Pine to where it is today. Fiji Pine has the ability to achieve new heights.”
Ratu Rakuita commended the managers for their active participation and commitment.
