THE truck driver involved in the Vatia drug bust in Tavua earlier this year has been considered to become an immunity witness for the State.

Munendra, 39, was granted bail by the High Court in Ba yesterday.

He appeared before Justice Samuela Qica and was represented by his lawyer Jitendra Reddy.

Mr Munendra was cautioned not to reoffend, report to the Ba Police Station between 6am and 6pm daily and to surrender his passport. The State is expected to file a Nolle Prosequi for him on March 20.
