There is a heavy rain alert in force for Yasawa and Mamanuca group, Western Viti Levu, Bua, Macuata province, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.
The Fiji Meteorological Service says a trough of low pressure with clouds and rain lies to the North of Fiji and is anticipated to drift south and affect the group from later tomorrow.
Expect rain to become heavy from this afternoon.
Possible impacts include localised flooding of susceptible communities, business and low lying areas.
Localised flooding of minor roads, iris crossing and bridges with some disruption to traffic flow and poor visibility for motorists and mariners.
