A heavy rain alert remains in force for the Fiji group.
A trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the group.
The Nadi weather states another trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain affects the group from the West.
The forecast is for occasional rain with isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls over most places.
“Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying areas,” adds Fiji Meteorological Service.
There is the possibility of gusty winds in areas of thunderstorm and heavy falls.
A flash flood alert that was previously in force for all low lying, flash flood prone areas and small streams for the whole of Fiji is now cancelled.
