Villagers are urging authorities to carry out urgent rehabilitation works on the Nailawa Bridge in Dawasamu, Tailevu.

Heavy rain over the weekend caused flash flooding that resulted in the wash-out of both side approaches.

This bridge connects Delakado, Veilolo, Natadradave and Vorovoro villages.

Villagers use this access to get onto the highway.
