THE Commission of Inquiry have yet to receive the Judicial Services Commission response to their letter.
COI senior counsel Janet Mason confirmed this to the media this afternoon when asked if she has received the response from JSC.
“We have yet to receive it,” Ms Mason said.
The JSC released a statement today saying that they have met yesterday to discuss issues of concern including FICAC Commissioner Barbara Malimali and DPP Christopher Pryde.
Ms Mason said the COI is still calling for Ms Malimali suspension.
“Yes, we still, because we do want to recall (FICAC manager of investigations Kuliniasi Saumi), so we’re keen to get this sorted out.
“Even if it takes longer then next week, we can always come back in the middle of report writing and record him.
Former FICAC commissioner Francis Pulewai completed her evidence today with Ms Malimali to have hers taken tomorrow.
