Ba Rugby Union will kick-off the Ba Industries Limited Tikina Championship on September 21.
In a statement BRU is calling all teams from the Tikina to familiarise themselves with World Rugby regulations.
“The BRU would like all managers, coaches and players to familiarise themselves with World Rugby regulations for the technical zone.
“Only four persons are permitted in the technical zone made up of no more than two medically trained personnel and two nominated water carriers who can be assistant coaches but under no circumstances can the head coach be part of the nominated four. No other person or player is permitted to be in the technical zone.”
The 2024 Tikina Championship will adopt the World Rugby Law changes that were announced in July.
These relate to offside in front of a kicker, eliminating the crocodile roll and removing the scrum option when a free kick is awarded.
