Agreement signed for Child helpline service

Update: 7:09PM A MEMORANDUM of Understanding was signed today by the Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Ministry with the Medical Service Pacific and communication network companies in Fiji.

Telecommunication Fiji Limited, Vodafone Fiji and Digicel signed the MOU to provide efficient communication network to children who need advice or assistance through the Child Helpline service.

The child helpline service will assist children around the country in calling in to the centre for immediate advice on issues they face.

Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Rosy Sofia Akbar said the ministry is happy to assist children through the helpline services and she thanks the communication network companies for their support.
