The State House was filled with an array of colours as students of Navesi Kindergarten in Delainavesi visited the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere last week.
The students dressed in their vivid kindergarten outfits were accompanied by their parents and teachers during their visit.
Ratu Wiliame according to a Government statement was happy to not only receive the students but also to meet his former primary school teacher who was part of the visiting delegation.
According to the statement he encouraged the students to never limit their aspiration of the professions they wish to join when they are older.
He thanked the parents for the upbringing and teachings instilled in the children.
Navesi Kindergarten teacher, Gloria Thomas stated that the trip to the State House was part of the syllable topic the students were learning which was leadership.
“Today’s visit is all part of the package for students to learn about leadership and to be able to explore the attributes of our culture and the protocols that take place in the State House,” she said.
