From an economical perspective, the government believes maintaining green infrastructure is extremely important.

This was said by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Waterways and Environment, Joshua Wycliffe while delivering his address at the Training on Green Infrastructure Operation and Maintenance yesterday in Suva.

“It is important to look from all works of operations into the economic wellbeing of the country,” he said.

Mr Wycliffe added the economic prosperity of any country or nation depended on infrastructure. ”
