The Fiji National Provident Fund has apologised to its members for the delay in the release of the cycle 3 payments for those who had applied for phase 2 round 5, and that they will receive their payment today – Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

This, according to Fund chief operating officer Pravinesh Singh who – in a statement today – attributed the delay in payments to a “system slowness issue”.

“We apologise to our members for the delay in the release of their cycle 3 payment but we can assure them that they should be able to access their funds today,” said Mr Singh.

“The issues have been resolved and we have put in place measures that will ensure that it does not repeat with future payments.”

The FNPF stated the payment scheduled for yesterday, Tuesday, May 4, 2021, affected members whose phase 2 round 5 applications had been approved up to April 29, 2021.
