FijiCare Insurance Ltd (“Fiji- Care”) has been recognised by the Insurance Asia 2021 Awards with two awards.

According to a statement from the company these were for the New Insurance Product of the Year – Fiji and the Digital Insurance Initiative of the Year – Fiji.

FijiCare executive director Avi Raju said they were thrilled to be recognised by this prestigious Asian insurance industry awards program.

“FijiCare will continue to focus on introducing innovative products and technology driven solutions for its customers in Fiji and the Pacific,” he said.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank our micro-insurance partners, namely UNCDF, its Pacific counterpart PFIP and the Government of Fiji.

“I would also like to thank our digital technology partner, Enoviq Technologies, who we continue to work closely with to develop new digital products.”

He said Insurance Asia Awards recognised companies which had successfully launched innovative solutions and had delivered exceptional value to their stakeholders.

The New Insurance Product of the Year Award was said to recognise FijiCare’s innovative and affordable bundled micro-insurance for low income earners in partnership with the Fijian government and the Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme.

The Digital Insurance Initiative of the Year Award recognised the enhancement of their services through technology-based solutions including the FijiCare mobile application.
