ABOUT 200 people from around the world who attended Xavier College in Ba in the 1970s are preparing for their first reunion to be held from June 6 to June 8 this year at the school.

Ranjan Charan, who was the head boy in 1973, said his former classmates were organising the reunion in a bid to rekindle friendships and build new relationships.

“A group of us that all live overseas began the organisation process virtually via remote control,” Mr Charan said.

“The goal behind the reunion is to reintroduce the ex-students back to the Xavier community, some of these folks have not come back to Xavier in the last 40 years.

“We hope this will now be the beginning of an ongoing relationship with their old school and an opportunity to renew old friendships.”
