Update: 11:00AM ATTORNEY General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum welcomed chief guest, the President Jioje Konrote during the 17th Attorney General’s Conference at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort at Natadola.

While opening the conference Mr Konrote said the topics,
conversations and debates during the event would help shape the future of the
country. 

He challenged legal practitioners to ensure they applied the law in a manner
that allowed all citizens to be treated equally.

“No one can be above the law,” he said.

More than 400 legal practitioners are attending the two-day event.
