POLICE are investigating the alleged theft of a generator from the Air Terminal Services cargo bond area.

Police spokeswoman Naina Ragigia said the incident was reported on March 16.

“We can confirm that our border police unit is investigating the alleged theft of a generator worth $2070,” she said.

“ATS has compensated the businessman for the loss, however, our investigations into the theft continue.”

Questions sent to ATS boss Hare Mani on March 18 regarding the issue were yet to be answered.
