Milestone agreement for local tour operator

TOUR Managers Fiji has signed an exclusive agreement with Cox & Kings Japan — one of the biggest travel companies in the land of the rising sun.

The deal, inked on February 28, makes Tour Managers Fiji the nominated ground handler for all Cox & Kings guests travelling to Fiji from Japan.

Tour Managers Fiji managing director Damend Gounder said the milestone agreement was one of a series of wide ranging contracts being put into motion as part of Tour Managers Fiji’s strategic plans to bring more tourists to the country.

“We strongly believe that Tour Managers Fiji’s unique products are well matched to provide for guests from all countries and we have a strong preference to share and promote our cultural heritage to the world,” he said.

“Tour Managers Fiji continues to invite guests to come and journey with us to enjoy the finest hospitality.

“Fiji is renowned for that and we want to share this with the world.”

Mr Gounder said the agreement signed with Cox & Kings Japan signified the large strides made by Tour Managers Fiji in proactively engaging and promoting destination Fiji in Japan.

“By signing the agreement with Cox & Kings Japan, Tour Managers Fiji will handle all ground transfers, the provision of unique Fijian hospitality arrival services at Nadi International and the reservations and co-ordination of all bookings for guests.”

Cox & Kings Japan is one of Japan’s largest outbound travel consortiums selling high end travel packages to luxury island destinations such as the Maldives, Tahiti, New Caledonia and Seychelles to name but a few.

Mr Gounder said Tour Managers Fiji was proud to be associated and in partnership with a trusted and well established organisation such as Cox & Kings Japan and would continue to work with partners in Fiji to meet and exceed guest expectations provided for all its guests.
