Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry today denounced the Police decision to bar political party members including FijiFirst Party leader Voreqe Bainimarama and general secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum from participating in a march in Suva in protest against Japan’s dumping of the Fukushima nuclear waste water into the Pacific Ocean.
“This is not the restricted freedom our people voted for when they elected the coalition government into office,” Mr Chaudhry said.
