Fiji is set to host a high-level Australian delegation this week, as Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong and Pacific Island Affairs and Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy arrive for an official visit from tomorrow until Thursday.

The visit is aimed at strengthening the renewed Vuvale Partnership between the two countries, built on shared values, trust, and a commitment to regional stability and prosperity.

During their stay, the ministers will meet with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, Foreign Affairs Minister Sakiasi Ditoka, and other senior government officials.

Discussions are expected to focus on enhancing cooperation across key areas including economic resilience, trade, health, defence, and security.

The Fijian Government says the visit will provide an opportunity to advance joint initiatives aligned with Fiji’s development priorities, while reinforcing a unified Pacific voice on regional and global issues.

Officials say they look forward to constructive dialogue that will further elevate bilateral ties and deliver meaningful outcomes for both nations.
