Update: 8:43PM The FIJIAN Beach Volleyball team lost 2-0 to Australia in the men’s final of the Oceania Beach Volleyball Championship which took place at the Smugglers Cove Resort in Nadi today.
The match went down to the wire in both sets with the Aussies winning 21-19 and 22-20.
In the semi-finals, Australia defeated Papua New Guinea 2-0 (21-14, 21-19) while Fiji White beat Cook Islands 2-1 (16-21, 21-18, 15-13) Australia also won the Fiji Open on Monday. Fiji White won the Central Zonal title on Wednesday.
