Fijians now have more options to shop online, particularly for hardware and home improvement products with an Australian retailer launching its online store for customers here.
Bunnings, the retailer of home and lifestyle products, is launching its online store for Fiji customers this month, building on its existing wholesale presence in the region – offering customers access to a wide range of brands commonly found in its network of stores across Australia and New Zealand.
Bunnings managing director Mike Schneider said they know customers in Fiji valued quality products and choice, along with trust and reliability, when shopping online.
“The online store is designed to make it easy for customers to browse, understand what they’re buying from a wide range of quality products, and know exactly what to expect when it comes to delivery and pricing,” Mr Schneider said in a statement yesterday.
“We’ve carefully assessed the needs of customers in the local market, we’ll be starting carefully and listening to customer feedback, so we can continue to improve the experience over time.”
Mr Schneider said 20,000 products would be available through the new range, including power and hand tools, garden maintenance equipment, electrical items, home security, and cleaning, among many more.
He said their research had shown online shopping in Fiji was still emerging, with many customers looking for greater confidence around delivery, security and reliability. He added the products would be fulfilled from Bunnings’ Australian distribution centre and delivered using established international shipping partners.
Designed with the Fiji customer in mind, the online store will be easy to use on mobile or computer, with clear product details and familiar payment options.
Customers will soon be able to explore and experience the online store on the website at bunningspacific.com.fj.
