Air Terminal Services (Fiji) Pte Ltd workers who were affected by COVID-19-related terminations will be compensated.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad, will officially announce the compensation package today.
About 285 ATS workers were sent home at the height of COVID-19 and were reinstated after the Coalition government came back into power.
They have already been paid amounts ranging from $3000-$5000 as goodwill payments.
ATS management and union representatives are expected to be present at today’s announcement.
