More than 150 spectators gathered at the Vodafone Arena in Suva last Saturday, for the AeroGym Fiji Showcase an inspiring event that celebrated young gymnastic talent and marked a key milestone in the sport’s development in Fiji.

Organized by AeroGym Fiji founder and head coach Josiemaraya Ryland in collaboration with the club’s dedicated parents, the event brought together gymnasts from the AeroGym Fiji Club and special guests from Flight Club in Lautoka.

Some of the gymnasts are now gearing up for the National Clubs Carnival set for the Gold Coast in September and the prestigious Suzuki World Cup in 2026.

Speaking at the event, Gymnastics Federation of Fiji board director Maria Alvarado praised the initiative.

“What we witnessed today goes far beyond performance it is about building character, confidence, and community. Coach Josiemaraya and his team are doing incredible work in developing gymnastics in Fiji, and events like this lay the foundation for future international success,” Alvarado said.

Also in attendance were representatives from the Gymnastics Federation of Fiji, the Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC), and the Fiji National Sports Commission (FNSC), showing strong institutional support for the growing sport.
