Aspen Medical Fiji has revealed that over the past 12 months, 100 heart surgeries have been conducted at the Lautoka Hospital.

“This fantastic and highly specialised clinical service which is free to all Fijians has positively changed the lives of so many and their families,” said Aspen Medical CEO in Fiji Gavin Whiteside.

“Aspen Medical continues to work towards improving healthcare for all Fijians and introducing even more services in Lautoka and Ba hospitals that historically, meant Fijians had to go overseas to receive treatment.

“Now, Fijians can receive first-class treatment and healthcare without leaving our beautiful shores.

“We are very excited for what is ahead as we work with our partners in the Government of Fiji and FNPF to deliver these healthcare services in Fiji.”
