Army wins cricket tourney

The Army cricket side beat Wardens to secure the India-Fiji T-20 Cricket Tournament Rolling Trophy (Year 2) which concluded at Suva’s Albert Park last weekend.

Their journey to victory was marked by gripping semifinal matches, and the final showdown against Wardens Cricket Club saw them clinching the trophy with a magnificent win.

The day’s festivities included the inaugural Super Six Business House Cricket Tournament.

This event witnessed participation from 11 Business Houses, fielding a total of 13 teams.

The final was also witnessed by the Indian High Commissioner P. S. Karthigeyan.

This tournament, which commenced on June 17th, featured spirited cricket battles every Saturday leading up to the final day.
