The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and the Great Council of Chiefs (GCC) have entered into a formal partnership aimed at strengthening traditional and national leadership through structured training initiatives.
The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the RFMF Strategic Headquarters this week, marking a milestone in civil-military collaboration.
The MOU was signed by Major General Jone Kalouniwai, Commander of the RFMF, and Ratu Viliame Seruvakula, Chairman of the GCC.
“This agreement sets the stage for enhanced leadership training assistance, enabling the RFMF to offer structured training programs for chiefs holding chiefly titles, supported by the GCC, on an annual basis.,” said a RFMF statement.
“This collaboration aims to strengthen leadership within our communities.”
