THE Army men’s volleyball team is eagerly preparing for the upcoming Sukuna Bowl Volleyball competition in hopes of reclaiming the coveted trophy.
Army volleyball representative Fereti Bolavucu acknowledges the strong competition posed by the Police team but expresses confidence in their readiness for the challenge.
Despite the recent rainy weather, the Army team remains undeterred in their preparation, ensuring that they are well-equipped both physically and mentally for the competition.
Bolavucu emphasises the team’s unwavering dedication and commitment to giving their best performance in this highly anticipated event.
“Our preparations have been great. The past few days have been rainy but that did not dampen our spirits to meet, train and give our best for this once-in-a-while competition,” said Bolavucu.
He adds the Sukuna Bowl competition holds special significance for the Army team, igniting a sense of excitement and motivation to excel on the court.
“It is always an exciting moment for us in the Sukuna Bowl competition; we play with our hearts out.”
As the competition draws near, the Army team is brimming with determination and optimism, eagerly anticipating the tough yet thrilling matches that lie ahead.
The Sukuna Bowl competition is set to kick off on the 17 of this month in Suva, culminating in the final showdown in Labasa on the 21.
