Update: 12:30PM THE Archbishop Emeritus Petero Mataca has been laid to rest.
He served 36 years in leadership as the archbishop of the
Archdiocese of Suva until he resigned.
He was called to rest on June 30 at the Suva Private Hospital.
Originally of Vuaki village, Matacawa island in the Yasawa
Group, the late Archbishop Emeritus died at the age of 81.
