The Employment Ministry’s National Occupational Health and Safety Service (NOHSS) has halted all operations of the MG rocket ride that was embroiled in a safety incident at the Hibiscus Festival last Saturday.
Employment Minister Agni Deo Singh said upon investigation, the NOHSS team had identified the cause and directed the ride owner and operator through the issuance of a prohibition notice to cease operations of the MG rocket ride immediately.
Further investigations are continuing at this stage.
