The Ba Pro Dragons teams are aware of the challenge they have on hand in the finals of the Under-15 and 17 grades in the Fiji Secondary School’s Rugby League Vodafone Cup this Saturday.

The side plays RKS Eels in the U15 grade while they face MGM Dragons in the U17 division.

Ba Provincial Free-bird Institute teacher Kaliova Ratuvuki, who is also Ba Pro Dragons U15 coach said it was a milestone achievement for both the U15 and U17 teams to make the finals.

“These group of boys, for the first time would play in the final of this competition and we know our opponents would come out well prepared,” he said.

Ratuvuki said the RKS Eels side was not an easy team, and neither was the MGM Dragons.

“Our boys have also geared up for Saturday’s final and they are all looking forward to the contest and for MGM Dragons, they are the most formidable team.

“This is the first time for them (MGM Dragons) to be competing in this competition and they have made it to the finals and they have shown how strong they are in the zone and also at the national level.

“We know they would play at another level this Saturday.”

He said the Bra Pro Dragons would also be fully prepared for the finals.

“We would also try to execute the game plan for both the U15 and U17 and give our best to win it.”

Ba Pro Dragons U15 captain Isoa Taqiri said it would not be an easy task defeating the RKS Eels but the boys were looking forward to the clash.

The Dragons U17 captain Bale Vetaukula echoed similar comments for their opponents.

“The MGM Dragons is a very strong team and we hope to defeat them this Saturday.”

The finals of the Fiji Secondary School Rugby League would be played at Ratu Cakobau Park this Saturday.
