Several All Blacks have been released for provincial duty ahead of the opening round of the Bunnings NPC this weekend.
Loose forward Hoskins Sotutu is set to make his debut for Counties-Manukau against Manawatu in Palmerston North on Friday night after switching allegiances from Auckland.
Lock Tupou Vaii will join Taranaki ahead of their game against Hawke’s Bay in New Plymouth on Saturday, and TJ Perenara and Asafo Aumua will be free to represent Wellington against Northland in Wellington.
Midfielder/wing Braydon Ennor, who did not play for the All Blacks in July because of appendicitis, will be available for Canterbury who are down to play Auckland in their opening round match in Auckland on Sunday.
Other All Blacks may be made available for their provinces on Sunday with a decision to be made after the test against the Wallabies in Auckland on Saturday night.
