GIVING back to the district was Ashik Ali’s way of showing appreciation for his time as a football player in Rewa.

His memories of his playing days are precious to him, especially his time playing alongside notable players such as Abdul Manan, Patrick Wise, Pita Rabo, in tournaments like the Battle of the Giants in 1995.

Despite not winning the tournament, he cherishes the experience. Now, at 54-years-old, he has chosen to give back by opening the United Brothers Sports club to support the development of young players in the district.

For Ashik Ali, this is the best way to repay the district for the opportunities and memories he gained during his playing days.
