PEOPLE from all walks of life flocked to Albert Park in Suva today for the annual Fiji Day parade.

Officers from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Fiji Police Force, Fiji Navy and the Fiji Corrections Service participated in the parade.

President Jioji Konrote reviewed the parade in the presence of hundreds of Fijians.

A 21-gun salute was also performed by officers from the RFMF in commemoration of Fiji’s 49 years of independence.

The theme for this year’s Fiji Day is ‘A progressive and sustainable Fiji for all’.
