FIJI Airways raised $10,000 in support of Pinktober and donated it to the Fiji Cancer Society.
With the theme: “Turning awareness into action”, the airline led a series of initiatives to empower staff and help raise awareness by encouraging preventative checks and contributing to cancer support efforts and community outreach towards the prevention of cancer.
Fiji Airways managing director and chief executive officer Paul Scurrah said Pinktober is a reminder that their strength as an organisation lies in how they support one another.
“I am incredibly proud of how our people came together with compassion, courage, and unity — to raise awareness and take meaningful action,” Mr Scurrah said.
Chief people officer Anna Morris said Pinktober reflects Fiji Airways’ deep commitment to caring for its people and support the communities they operate in.
“At Fiji Airways, caring for our people means empowering them with essential knowledge, support and access to make informed health decisions,” Ms Morris said.
“Every year, our efforts grow stronger, reaching more of our people and the wider community.

“While our leaders proudly support this initiative, it is our people who truly lead the way — designing, driving and deepening the impact of Pinktober across the airline.”
Fiji Cancer Society chief executive officer Belinda Chan thanked the airline for its continued partnership and commitment to community wellbeing.
“On behalf of the Fiji Cancer Society, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Fiji Airways team and everyone who contributed to this remarkable effort.
“Your generous support is more than a donation — it’s a lifeline that brings hope, care, and dignity to Fijians affected by cancer,” Ms Chan said.
Fiji Airways employees participated in fundraising activities from bake sales and morning teas to team challenges and pink-themed events.
