Motorists and members of the public are being of the advised that several roads in the Western and Northern Divisions are currently closed due to flooding caused by heavy rain.
According to the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA), closed roads in the Western Division are as follows:
▪️Navula Road crossing Lautoka – closed to all traffic.
▪️Drass Dam Road Lautoka – open to 4×4 vehicles.
▪️Buabua Road first crossing – closed to all traffic.
▪️Arolevu crossing Nadi closed to all traffic
▪️Marinitawa crossing Ba, underwater, and close to all traffic.
▪️Qalela Road first crossing Tavua – open to 4×4 only.
▪️Matacawa Road first crossing Tavua flooded – open to 4×4 vehicles only.
▪️Nadelai Road 3rd crossing Tavua flooded and closed to all traffic.
▪️Rarawai cemetery crossing Ba, underwater, closed to all traffic.
▪️Varadoli Back Road – surface flooding open to 4×4 only.
▪️Mataniwai Road Ba flooded and closed to all traffic.
▪️Rukuruku Road Ba is closed to all traffic.
▪️Yaladro Road Tavua is closed to all traffic.
▪️Vatawai crossing, Ba, flooded and closed to all traffic.
▪️Babriban crossing Ba, underwater and closed to all traffic.
▪️Toge Road crossing Ba underwater and closed to all traffic.
Roads closed in the Northern Divsion:
▪️Lalakoro Crossing, Lalakoro Road Seaqaqa – closed to all traffic.
▪️Naqumu Crossing, Naqumu Road Seaqaqa – closed to all traffic.
▪️Wairiki Crossing, Navakuru Road, Labasa – closed to all traffic.
