The Commissioner Central Division, Josefa Navuku wishes to advise Fijians in the upper reaches of Naitasiri that in the interest of their safety and in a bid to also ensure a robust containment of the COVID-19 virus, the following measures are strongly encouraged and have been put in place at the Sawani containment border:
- Reminder of No Crossing borders (both in iTaukei and Hindi)
- All essential shopping needs should be met by the local shops within the containment zone.
- MPAISA and MyCash available at the Sawani service station
- Westpac EFTPOS available at Sawani service station, (can cater for ANZ and BSP customers ) Other ATM withdrawals can be facilitated by the Commissioner Central Command Team at the Sawani Police Post
- Western Union available at Vunidawa supermarket
- Purchase of medicine can be facilitated at the border in consultation with Police
- All other requests may be directed to the PA Naitasiri office and CCD Office.
