Extra Bula FC captain Roy Krishna is determined to adhere to their game plan as they prepare for the second round of the OFC Pro League against Solomon Kings on Sunday.

Having started their campaign with a 2-2 draw against Vanuatu United followed by a 1-0 loss to Auckland FC, Bula FC is eager to bounce back in round two.

Krishna acknowledges the privilege of playing in Papua New Guinea and expresses confidence in his team’s readiness for the upcoming match.

Reflecting on the team’s experience in the pro league, Krishna emphasised the youth of their squad and their ability to compete at a high level.

“Playing in Papua New Guinea is always a privilege, and our boys are ready, and we are looking forward for a good round two,” said Krishna.

“The experience in the pro league has been good, we have a young squad, and as you can see, we can play football, even though we are young.”

He stresses the importance of focusing on their own game and executing their game plan effectively against a strong opponent like Solomon Kings, who boast several national team players.

“Solo team is a good team, we know most of their players are from the national team, we will just focus on ourselves, what we have to do on the field to get the result and go forward from them.”

Addressing supporters, Krishna calls for their backing both at the stadium and from back in Fiji, highlighting the team’s need for their support and prayers.

Bula FC will face Solomon Kings on Sunday at the Santos National Football Stadium in Papua New Guinea at 5:30 pm.
