ACS, Sila share $14k

Adi Cakobau School and Sila Central High School have been boosted with a cash sponsorship of $7000 each ahead of next week’s Coca-Cola Games.

HFC Bank announced its sponsorship to ACS and Sila Central High School in a bid to support the schools’ preparation for this year’s Coca Cola games held at the HFC Bank Stadium.

The announcement was made during a ceremony held at HFC Bank, with the Attorney General and Minister for Justice Siromi Turaga as the chief guest.

Sila Central High School principal Aisake Tuapati thanked HFC Bank and stated that the school will be able to achieve its objectives of academics and extracurricular activities with the Banks’ support enabling students to showcase their talents.

ACS principal Tokasa Wilson expressed her gratitude towards HFC Bank and the Attorney General for their generous donation, stating that the ACS family will remain silent and let their success in the upcoming Coca-Cola games make all the noise.

HFC Bank chief executive officer Rakesh Ram, elaborated that the bank is eager to implement financial literacy programs which will educate and assist students in opening accounts and in understanding the importance of financial management.

The national finals will be held from April 27-29.
