Commuters in Suva met unexpected delays and disruptions yesterday as a heavy-duty truck, operated by ZAR Logistics, overturned at the intersection entering Princes Rd.
The incident occurred at around 10am.
Witnesses claim the driver of the truck was allegedly speeding as he attempted to negotiate a turn from Ratu Mara Rd onto Princes Rd.
The force of the maneuver caused the laden vehicle to topple over, blocking traffic along Edinburgh Drive and Ratu Mara Rd.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash. Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
