Fiji is represented by four swimmers at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore that is currently underway having commenced on Saturday, July 26. Singapore is the first city in Southeast Asia to host the World Championships.
Olympian David (Tolu) Young, now in his third World Championships, leads the team. Alongside him is Samuel Yalimaiwai, making his debut at this level after recently competing at the Palau Mini Games where they both won Gold medals for Fiji. Also on the team is Olympian Anahira McCutcheon, who is experiencing her first World Championships and Marseleima Moss, returning for her second World Championships appearance after winning three silvers and a bronze at the 2025 Palau Mini Games.
For Fiji Swimming, having four athletes at the world stage is a significant achievement, marking both experience and new milestones for the team as they continue their journey in international competition.
