THE Vodafone Secondary School Football championship received $26,000 from Vodafone Fiji as part of its sponsorship of the event.
They have been sponsoring the tournament for the past five years.
Vodafone Fiji acting chief marketing officer Nilesh Singh said the company was proud to be the name behind the development of football in the country.
“The true refelction of our passion and commitment for the sport can be seen through the fame of the sport,” Singh said.
Vodafone is also sponsoring all school uniforms.
The tournament will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi from August 12-15.
