MIDDLEMORE Sangam stamped their authority on the 2026 TISI Sangam Convention, producing a dominant display to defeat Malolo 4-1 in the Super Premier final at Prince Charles Park in Nadi yesterday.

From the opening whistle, Middlemore looked the more composed and dangerous side, combining sharp attacking movements with a disciplined defensive structure. Their early intent paid off when they broke the deadlock in the first half, taking a deserved 1-0 lead into the break.

Malolo, who had earlier secured their place in the final with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Hamilton, struggled to contain Middlemore’s fluid play. The eventual champions returned in the second spell with even greater intensity, controlling possession and dictating the tempo of the game.

Their dominance translated into goals as they added three more in the second half, effectively putting the contest beyond reach. Malolo managed to pull one back in the later stages, showing glimpses of resilience, but it proved too little too late as Middlemore sealed an emphatic 4-1 victory to lift the coveted title.

In other results, Hamilton Masters edged Lautoka Masters 2-1 in the Masters division final after leading 1-0 at halftime, maintaining their composure to secure the win.

The Premier Division final delivered high drama, with Dreketi/Saweni emerging victorious after a tense penalty shootout, defeating Melbourne 4-1 to claim the title in a proud moment for the side.

Meanwhile, in the Legends division, Auckland showcased their experience and composure to clinch the 2026 Sangam Convention trophy, narrowly defeating Vancouver 1-0 in a tightly contested encounter.

The tournament wrapped up on a high note, highlighting competitive football and strong participation across all divisions.
