THE Victorious People Multi-Purpose cooperative Ltd is planning to launch a product marketing consignment business in June to help its members sell their goods.

The cooperative highlighted this during the opening of its office and warehouse in Tacirua on Friday, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Business Development.

The women-led cooperative, which was established in September 2025, had experienced growth in just six months from 10 founding members to 55 active members.

It was also stated that the cooperative is actively diversifying its operations into logistics and retail with recent investments including the acquisition of a vehicle and shipping container.

These achievements represent a key step forward as the cooperative advances towards its 2031 goals, reinforcing its commitment to economic empowerment and sustainable growth.

While officiating at the launch, director and registrar of Cooperatives Iosefo Koroidimuri said the cooperative’s rapid progress is reflected in its strong financial positions, with total assets exceeding $106,000.

“These assets compromise members’ share capital, savings and loans that have already benefited 33 members,” Mr Koroidimuri said.

He said the Department of Cooperatives will continue to provide guidance and support as the cooperative strengthens its operations and expands its impact.
