Adi Cakobau School have defended their title in the girls division after an impressive show in the Triple N Zone Meet 2026 at the HFC Bank stadium today.

Team captain Sereana Macedru led her team with determination and composure throughout the two-day competition.

Macedru credited faith and teamwork as the foundation of their performance.

“First of all, I want to thank the Lord for giving us the strength. I also want to thank our stakeholders — the ACS administration, staff members, teachers, old scholars, especially the athletes, and the support from the school as a whole,” she said.

Macedru said she was proud of the team’s efforts and is already looking ahead to the Coca-Cola Games.

“I am proud of our performance and I look forward to what Coca-Cola Games is awaiting for us.”

The ACS captain acknowledged that there is still room for growth, particularly in strengthening unity within the team.

“We will improve our bond with the coaches and the team because when there is unity, God commands His blessing. We will mainly focus on our bond as a team and then look forward to what that bond will bring us in our results.”

Macedru also extended her gratitude to supporters who stood by the team during their preparation and competition.

“I want to thank our supporters, especially the old girls, for supporting us throughout our training and during the Triple N Zone. We look forward to what the Coca-Cola Games will bring.”

She also paid respect to competing schools for raising the level of competition.

“We want to acknowledge all other schools for giving us a competitive vibe throughout the two days.”

With momentum building and team unity a key focus, ACS now shifts its attention to the Fiji Finals.
