A massive 144 games are expected to take place on the second day of the 50th Fiji Bitter Marist Sevens, barring any delays.
The matches will be held at the HFC Bank National Stadium grounds, Buckhurst Park grounds, and Bidesi grounds at Laucala Bay in Suva.
As of 11:57 am, games 55, 56, and 57 are currently underway.
At the HFC Stadium, Black Heron faces Nakavu; at Buckhurst grounds, Katie Rugby takes on Mosimosi Draubuta; and at Bidesi grounds, Ratu Filise will battle KVT Tribal.
In the opening matches of day two, the Vuna Brothers edged Island Brothers 10-7, while defending champions Devo Babas thrashed Saint Theresa Rugby Club 24-0. Meanwhile, the national side’s shadow team, TISA Warriors, began their campaign strongly with a commanding 31-0 victory over Naceva Blues.
