Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Development is bracing for another tough encounter against Lautoka Rugby in the curtain-raiser match of Round 6 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Queensland Reds this Saturday at Churchill Park Ground Three at 12:30pm.

Head coach Nemani Nadolo said the match presents another valuable opportunity for his players to gain game time and continue building combinations.

“It’s another great opportunity for our boys to have another run out particularly our senior players and great opportunity for our development to get some more minutes in the legs and it’s not getting any easier as we play

Lautoka from reports they have been preparing well.

“We are excited and it’s another way for us to connect with community and grassroots.”

Meanwhile, Nadolo has made key adjustments to his matchday 23.

Nadroga captain Sakiusa Vosayaco returns to the starting line-up after missing last week’s match, while sharpshooter Kemu Valetini takes on the kicking duties at flyhalf. Last weekend’s main squad debutant Iosefa Namoce shifts into the starting role at outside centre.

Young hooker Moses Armstrong-Ravula also earns a place in the squad, named in the No.16 jersey following his return from injury, while Penaia Cakobau provides cover off the bench at loosehead prop.

The curtain-raiser against Lautoka is scheduled for 12.30pm.
