Suva Football Association has received a significant boost for the upcoming Extra Premier League season with Global Care signing on as the team’s title sponsor, securing naming rights for the club.
As a result, the team will now be known as Global Care Suva FC, marking a major partnership for the capital city side.
The president of the Association, Nitin Singh, expressed his delight at securing this sponsorship deal, citing it as a significant milestone for Suva Football.
“They are connected with more than 350 top hospitals around the world, including major institutions like Apollo Hospital in India, and they help people find the right treatment when they need it most,” he said.
Global Care director Yogendra Ravinesh Sharma echoed Singh’s sentiments.
He acknowledged the hard work that went into securing the partnership.
“My reason for being here today is not only sports. I am here for what Mr Nitin has mentioned — how can we have a second life. Through sports, I believe I can reach people and help them get treated overseas,” he said.
He added that Suva was the right place to be.
“I have chosen Suva first because it is the biggest district. We all need to put our hands together and see how we can grow.”
