An individual was apprehended by Police earlier today at the New Wing of the Government Buildings in Suva after reportedly displaying suspicious behaviour.
According to a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister, the individual entered through the main entrance but was stopped by officers stationed on the ground floor.
Police officers on duty quickly intervened, escorting the individual out of the premises before referring him to the relevant authorities for further assessment.
The Office confirmed that services continued as normal throughout the incident and no staff or visitors were affected.
